Garmabeh (2023)

As 1 of 4 commissioned artists to dream up a temporary outdoor sauna, we conceptualized Garmabeh while referencing ancient Iranian bath houses that were an important social setting for centuries prior to the introduction of piped water. This structure serves as an intimate space to cleanse the body and to ease the mind, while playing with materials, light and textures. We want to intice the feeling of your mind preparing your body for an experience that is yet to come.
